In order for the program to know what galaxies are available and
what sectors are available within those galaxies, it uses a series
of list (.lst) files. The primary file is gal.lst which is the
directory of galaxies:

Directory of Galaxies
--------------------------------------------------------
classic Semi-Official Traveller Galaxy
tne New Era Galaxy
var1 Variant 1
gmc Greater Magellanic Cloud

If you want to get rid of one of these galaxies, so that the
program no longer knows it exists, you have the delete its line
from this file.

Every galaxy directory (classic, tne, var1, gmc) contains a list
file, which is a directory of the sectors contained by the galaxy.
The list file for the Classic galaxy is classic\classic.lst:

Directory of Sectors
--------------------------------------------------------
beyond Beyond Sector
corridor Corridor Sector
deneb Deneb Sector
ealiyasi Ealiyasiyw Sector
gush Gushemege Sector
hinter Hinterworlds
lishun Lishun Sector
massilia Massilia Sector
oldexpan Old Expanses
reft Reft Sector
riftspan Riftspan Reaches
solrim Solomani Rim
spinmar Spinward Marches
trojan Trojan Reach
vland Vland Sector
magyar Magyar Sector
spica Spica Sector

Here, the story is much the same. If you want to get rid of a
sector, you have to delete the corresponding line. Note that you
can create new galaxies and/or sectors from Galactic's main menu by
choosing the Select/Create Galaxy or Select/Create Sector option
and then hitting the <Insert> key.
